Double-acting Hydraulic System, an advanced design for swage machines

Wirop has always manufactured wire rope presses by a DOUBLE-ACTING hydraulic system. Although this design is not a cheap option and more COSTLY, it offers numerous advantages.

For large-size wire rope presses, Wirop’s double acting design allows the machine to operate upside down, providing several key benefits:
1. It helps prevent dust from entering the hydraulic cylinders.
2. It greatly simplifies maintenance — the top section can be easily removed using an overhead crane.
3. There is no need to deal with cylinder springs during servicing; the piston can simply be lifted out.
4. The working height can be conveniently set to ensure an optimal and ergonomic workspace.
